Quality Specialist


A fantastic opportunity is now available with our global manufacturing client based in Sheffield for an experienced Quality Specialist.


Experience in a similar role is essential with practical experience of developing and implementing Quality Management Systems, including internal audits and corrective/preventive actions. Experience driving strong GMP Compliance and of root cause analysis and issues resolution is required.


The successful candidate will be a confident influencer and communicator and will drive high standards and expectations.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Initiate, support and drive activities, focussed on assurance of safety and Quality in compliance with the Quality Policies.

  • Drive a culture of zero loss for quality through a continuous improvement mindset.

  • Support in ensuring that the section complies with the Sanitation requirements including compliance to all cleaning schedules, verification and validation of sanitation procedures.

  • Support the HACCP management and compliance within the section.

  • Plan, support and deliver quality related training needs to the section team.

  • Support any internal or external Quality related audits and inspections.

  • Support any quality incident investigations and root cause analysis.

  • Support the implementation of 5S across the section

  • Lead consumer complaints reduction with a loss analysis and improvement mindset

  • To facilitate the management of section non-conformances

  • Ensure any immediate quality risks are assessed and controlled


A degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Science, Nutrition, Food Technology or related field is preferred but not essential if you are qualified by experience.


Working Hours - Monday to Friday 7:30pm - 4:00pm
