Purpose:
� To assist with the smooth and successful operation of the lines within the Factory.
� To carry out routine operating tasks, packing, operating, start up and shutdown to assist in meeting operational targets whilst achieving standards in safety hygiene, quality, value and service.
Key Accountabilities:
� Operates automated equipment (process and packing) to the required standards, including starting up, shutting down, changeovers and routine diagnostics.
� Must be flexible across the lines using transferable skills to help colleagues.
� Understands and applies safety and hygiene standards.
� Finds ways of continually improving their own performance.
� Understands when and whom to seek assistance during breakdowns.
� Communicates issues to other associates as required.
� Respond to line alarms.
� Conduct routine quality checks on the line.
� Housekeeping and hygiene tasks.
Competencies:
� Good team worker with ability to fit into an existing team.
� Flexible and organised approach to handling a varying work load.
� Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
� Adherence to strict safety and hygiene standards.
