Our high-profile Utilities client is looking for a Marketing Manager (Recruitment) to lead and deliver their Recruitment Marketing Strategy across all its brands.


You will work across the wider Talent Acquisition Team and partner with colleagues in Marketing, Colleague Experience and Corporate Affairs to position the client as an employer of choice, globally.


As part of this, you will work closely with our Diversity & Inclusion and Network Leads to ensure D&I is at the heart of all our attraction processes and materials - and that we constantly challenge ourselves in this space.


You will lead the development and execution of various global marketing strategies for key job functions or business units to ensure our employer brand is recognised and respected in the key markets in which we recruit.


You will be responsible for attracting great talent, in a timely manner - optimising the use of the most effective channels and content, both on and offline.


This is a secondment opportunity for 12 months whilst the role holder is on maternity leave.



The Job role:





  • Promote and drive client employer brand to the external market




  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure there is consistency in the communication of the client employer brand throughout each step of the candidate's journey




  • Design and implement tailored recruitment marketing plans for early careers, professional and volume recruitment - to ensure our employer brand is consistent across all marketing channels, both on and offline




  • Champion our D&I goals across all channels and campaigns




  • Collaborate with stakeholders and suppliers to create tailored assets that communicate best with our target audience for each marketing channel to maximize ROI




  • Act as a conduit between talent acquisition, marketing and the internal and external communications teams




  • Manage relationships with 3rd party suppliers for attraction such as media, advertising and creative agencies




  • Educate, engage & empower resourcing specialists on the most efficient marketing mix for their recruitment.





The Person:





  • Good understanding of online and offline marketing principles




  • Good understanding of social media platforms and engaging target audience




  • Excellent verbal communication, written and presentation skills and experience of engaging and managing with senior stakeholders




  • Experienced in content marketing, including the delivery of long-form articles, video content, social media assets and imagery




  • Strong understanding of current recruitment marketing trends including effective use of social media, digital marketing and off line promotion for the engagement and attraction of candidates




  • Capable of producing content - and managing agencies to deliver - targeted marketing campaigns, with a deep understanding of what drives candidate engagement




  • Able to build credibility with a large network of key stakeholders, both internal and external




  • Continuously seeking for incisive insight into business performance, and ability to relate to key targets such as STEM hiring in support of People and Planet Plan




  • Sound financial and commercial judgement to operate in a cost reduction hiring environment.
