Graduate Engineer (Medical Device) Oxford, £25-35k

An excellent position has just arisen for a Graduate Engineer to join UK-based medical device company focused solely on the minimally invasive treatment of aortic disease. Role responsibilities:

  • Create Test and Study Protocols.

  • Author technical reports.

  • Perform design verification and validation tasks to ensure that the product meets all its

  • requirements.

  • Ensure manufacturing processes are supported to provide maximum utility and yields

  • Facilitate identification and exploitation of process improvement potential

  • Ensure design for manufacture and smooth design transfer of all projects

  • Design test equipment.

  • Purchase new and improved manufacturing equipment

  • Ensure appropriate qualification and validation of processes and equipment

  • Participate in risk management process.

  • Source & select components and services.

  • Ensure work instructions and procedures are current and appropriate to manufacturing,

  • quality and regulatory requirements

  • Support training and development on production procedures and work instructions for

  • employees and subcontractors.

  • Technical support of Quality System processes (complaints/non-conformance/CAPA)

  • At management discretion you may be assigned other tasks and asked to assist in other

  • areas of the business

Role requirements:

  • Degree, HNC/HND educated in an engineering discipline or 1/2 years'

  • experience in an engineering role

  • Experience with Solid works CAD software or equivalent

  • Project Management exposure Experience in an Engineering role within a medical device's organisation

  • A personal interest in the Medical field and medical manufacturing

  • industry

  • Experience of Minitab or Data Analysis
